Why Barefoot Massage?
Sarga Bodywork blends the ancient art of barefoot massage with cutting-edge fascia science.
Sarga Bodywork is a modern barefoot massage method that goes beyond traditional deep tissue work. Designed for both effective relief and nervous system support, it offers deep, sustained pressure without pain, along with fascial stretching and a calming, restorative touch.
Rooted in the latest research on fascia and neuroregulation, Sarga Bodywork provides a therapeutic experience that is both powerful and deeply intentional, creating real and lasting change in the body.
Can you feel tension as well with the feet as you do with the hands?
Actually, I can feel MORE! Did you know there are more nerve endings per square centimeter in the foot than any other part of the body? The soles of the feet have an estimated 200,000 nerve endings, while the palms of the hands have about 17,000 touch receptors and free nerve endings. The feet are far more sensitive.
But… feet? Let’s talk about hygiene.
Cleanliness is a core part of my practice and a strict requirement in Sarga Bodywork. As both a certified practitioner and an instructor, I follow and teach some of the most rigorous hygiene protocols in the industry to ensure clean, smooth, and safe contact during barefoot work:
I wash and sanitize my feet before and after every session.
I wear sanitized rubber slides in my workspace.
I uphold consistent foot hygiene through regular exfoliation, nail care, and skin maintenance.
What happens behind the scenes matters just as much as what happens during your session. Your comfort, safety, and peace of mind are part of the care I offer.
